Burnley maintained their current runners up spot in England Championship standings after they grabbed an important home victory over Nottingham Forest this past weekend. The home side looking really determined in taking all three points from that big match battle as they managed to get in front after only 12 minutes of play through Scott Arfield's effort. Things go much comfortable for the host when Samuel Vokes netted his team's second on 25 minutes.
Burnley eventually secured all three points from that tie when Vokes completed his brace on 35 minutes, giving his team a comfortable 3-0 lead as they go into half time break. In the second period, Forest tried their best in getting back into that tie, but all they managed to do was pulling one back on 80 minutes from Djamel Abdoun's strike.
