Borussia Dortmund picked a massive result this past weekend as they defeated city rival, Schalke in a thrilling derby at Signal Iduna Park.
Both teams started off with an attacking intent as neither of them were keen on picking up a defeat in the derby.
It was Dortmund though that got the breakthrough as Shinji Kagawa opened his team's scoring after 30 minutes of play.
That lead lasted for just three minutes with Schalke grabbing an equalizer through their star forward, Klaas Jan Huntelaar.
Dortmund regained their lead though two minutes before half time break, this time with an effort from Matthias Ginter.
Thomas Tuchel's boys kept on pushing forward in the second half as they added a third goal from Pierre Aubameyang.
The visitor managed to make things interesting though as Huntelaar bagged his second, making it 3-2.
Dortmund were able to secure their three points as Schalke failed to grab an equalizing goal late in that match.
