Blackburn Rovers' ambition in pushing for that England Championship play offs spot by the end of season continue to face a hurdle as this weekend they were demolished by Bolton Wanderers at Reebok Stadium. The home side might not be in a better position than their opponent this time around, but that didn't stop them from putting on a solid display and they got themselves in front through Mohamed Kamara on 23 minutes. The host sealed their first 45 minutes with a comfortable two goals lead thanks to an effort from Joe Mason in the stroke of half time.
After the break, Blackburn tried to get back into that tie, but Bolton were much prepared and it was they that eventually confirming their victory with another additional two goals. Jay Spearing netted his team's third on 47 minutes and Andre Moritz eventually slammed home the fourth goal deep in stoppage time.
