Bolton Wanderers FC 2-2 Sunderland FC: Championship side Bolton managed to force Sunderland into playing a re-play of the FA Cup third round after both teams shared the spoils at Reebok Stadium.
Bolton managed to shock their Premier League opponent when Lee Chung-Yong opened the scoring after just 12 minutes of play. The home team doubled their advantage early in the second half through Marvin Sordell's effort, giving a temporarily joy for the home crowd who were probably thinking that they're home and dry already.
Sunderland were not keen to go down without a fight though as they managed to pull one back right in the hour mark from Connor Whicham's effort. The visitor finally forced a replay after Craig Gardner netted home a lovely effort 15 minutes from time.
