Nottingham Forest's push into the top two seat in English Championship table got halted this weekend as they only managed to grab a point from their away fixture against struggling Bolton Wanderers. Playing away from home, Forest found difficulties in breaking down their opponent's defense in the first 45 minutes as that period ended in a disappointing goalless draw.
The away side immediately got a way through though early in the second half as they got in front on 47 minutes thanks to an effort from Jame Paterson. However, that lead was canceled out midway into that period when Bolton found a way back into that tie with a goal coming from Matthew Mills, who scored on 75 minutes. That result means that Forest are still sitting at fourth place in current Championship standings, nine points a drift from second seat, Burnley.
