Bologna FC 1909 1-2 Parma FC highlights: Parma ended their 2102 in a positive note after picking up an away victory over Bologna on Saturday.
It was hailed as the Emilia-Romagna Derby when Bologna host Parma at Stadio Dall'Ara and with both teams hungry for points, the game gets really exciting. Both sides were up for it from the start, but a tense affair made things really tight as the host were enjoying more ball possession, but the away side looked dangerous every time they attack.
After a stalemate in the first period, Bologna stunned their opponent with a goal scored by Frederick Sorensen in the 54th minute with a smashing shot from nine yards out. The visitor didn't take long to hit back though as two minutes later, Jaime Valdes equalized after netting a screamer from long range which ended in the top corner.
Roberto Donadoni's men apparently had the edge over their rival as they doubled their lead in the 65th minute through a fine volley by Nicola Sansone. The victory means that Parma ended their year sitting at eight place, which is a positive achievement for the Gialloblu.
