Birmingham City making their way slowly avoiding that relegation trouble after snatching an important away victory over fellow struggling side, Blackpool this past weekend. That duel between two troubled teams looking really tight indeed as neither were keen in giving away points and it was the home side that got themselves in front when Andrew Keogh puts them in front on 22 minutes. That lead lasted until half time break, as Birmingham failed to grab an equalizer during that first 45 minutes.
After the break, things still looking really tight as both sides continue to push forward in search for more goals and it was Birmingham that were successful on that half as they earned that equalizing goal on 63 minutes from Lee Novak's strike. The away side eventually turned things around with eight minutes left in the clock as Novak completed his brace and presented all three points for his team.
