Manchester City have to add one more fixture on their already packed schedule as they were forced to play a replay in their FA Cup battle after being held by Blackburn Rovers this weekend. Playing away from home against the Championship side, Man City looking confident knowing that they have been putting on positive performances in recent league matches.
Things were looking bright indeed for City as just before half time break they managed to get themselves in front with an effort from Alvaro Negredo, giving his side a slender lead as they go into half time break. However, soon after the re-start, Blackburn got back on level terms as they snatched an equalizing goal from Scott Dann's effort on 55 minutes. With no more goals being netted until the final whistle was blown, both teams will be playing another game, this time it will be held on City's ground at Etihad stadium.
