SL Benfica 2-2 FC Porto highlights: There was a battle of top two sides in Portuguese League last weekend when Benfica play host to FC Porto at Estadio Da Luz.
Playing away from home apparently doesn't scare off Porto players as they managed to open the scoring after just eight minutes of play when Joao Moutinho's free kick found Eliaquim Mangala, who headed home from close range. That lead only lasted for two minutes though as Nemanja Matic equalized for the home team with a wonderful volley from just outside of the penalty area.
Moments later, Porto regained their advantage after a silly error by Benfina keeper, Artur, allowing Jackson Martinez to slot the ball without much problem on 15 minutes. Once again, that lead only lasted for two minutes as Nicolas Gaitan grabbed the equalizer with a close range finish.
No more goals were scored in the second half as both teams failed to convert their chances, especially the host that created couple massive opportunities through Oscar Cardozo and Pablo Aimar. However, in the end both sides were forced to settle into a 2-2 draw.
