Benfica's fine start in the league continues this weekend as they defeated their visitor, Beira Mar on Saturday.
Coming into the match from Champions League disappointment, Benfica are eager to bounce back from that midweek result. However, it was Beira Mar that took a shock lead through Vincent Sasso's header five minutes into the game.
The home team took a while before getting the equalizer as Maxi Pereira's acrobatic effort from a close range in the 58th minute made it 1-1. Two minutes later, Benfica turned the game around thanks to Rodrigo's goal.
This victory help Benfica maintained their top place in the league table.
