An exciting encounter occurred on midweek as Bayer Leverkusen play host to AS Roma in their Champions League group stage third match day.
The Italian side were in dire needs of victory after only snatching one point from their previous two games.
However, it was the home team that got off to a better start as they went ahead after just four minutes through Javier Hernandez's spot kick.
Hernadez continue to cause Roma problems as the Mexican international netted home his second on 19 minutes, making it 2-0.
The Italian were not keen on giving up as they bounce back immediately and pulled one back through Daniele De Rossi on 29 minutes.
Soon afterwards, it was 2-2 as De Rossi bagged his brace on 37 minutes, forcing the first 45 minutes to end in a draw.
In the second half, Roma continue to push forward as they netted a third goal from Miralem Pjanic's effort on 54 minutes.
Rudi Garcia's men, took advantage of their positive moment and added a fourth through Iago Falque.
Unfortunately, that potential three points vanished in two minutes time as Leverkusen crawled back through Kevin Kampl on 84 minutes, before Admir Mehmedi equalized on 86 minutes.
