Bayer Leverkusen vs Hertha BSC highlights (4-2)

Bayer Leverkusen continuing their impressive start into the new season as they grabbed a convincing home win over Hertha BSC on Saturday.

Successfully snatching three points from Borussia Dortmund in their first fixture, Leverkusen were in confident mood as they host Hertha.

However, it was not a positive start though from Leverkusen as they found themselves trailing by a goal when Tim Jedvaj scored an own goal on 24 minutes.

In the second half, Jedvaj paid off his mistake though as he grabbed an equalizing goal on 50 minutes.

Hertha surprisingly continue to cause problems for Leverkusen as the visitor regained their lead through Julian Schieber's effort on 60 minutes.

Leverkusen were not in the mood to lose their home match though as they got back on level terms once again, this time with an effort from Emir Spahic on 62 minutes.

From that moment on, it was all the home side as they turned things around when Julian Brandt scored his side's third on 74 minutes.

Karim Bellarabi finally sealed all three points for Leverkusen as he netted home the fourth goal on 86 minutes.
