Bayer Leverkusen 3-1 Eintracht Frankfurt highlights: Current Bundesliga runners up Bayer Leverkusen continue to chase at the top league leader, Bayern Munich, as Sami Hyypia's men defeated Eintracht Frankfurt of Saturday.
The game was halted for quite a while after visiting fans creating problems with their flares and fireworks, after a short delay both teams get things underway and Leverkusen eventually opened the scoring on 31 minutes through Sebastian Boenisch. Two minutes later, the host doubled their advantage after a simple finish from their top striker Stefan Kiessling who combined well with Castro before scoring.
Leverkusen sealed their victory in the 58th minute when Andre Schurlle scored a fine goal and two minutes later Frankfurt finally managed to pull one back through Alexander Meier's effort. That victory maintained Leverkusen's runners' up spot, while Frankfurt also remain sitting pretty comfortably at fourth place.
