Bayer Leverkusen's ambition to get themselves sitting in the top four seat of Bundesliga standings before international break vanished as they only picked up a point against Augsburg.
Knowing that a win will give them that shot in sitting at top four seat, Leverkusen tried to take an attacking initiative early on.
However, they were stunned as Augsburg were able to get themselves ahead through Bernd Leno's own goal.
The home side were able to react well after going down as they got back on level terms with an effort from Karim Bellarabi on 39 minutes.
Unfortunately, no more goals were scored by either teams during the second half as that match eventually ended in a 1-1 draw.
