AS Monaco still keeping their title challenge alive and well as this weekend they successfully picked up an important three points from their latest away fixture against Bastia. Only able to snatch a point from their previous league game against Paris Saint-Germain, Claudio Ranieri's men were determined not to lose more points as they travel to Stade Arman Cesari stadium. It was a pretty difficult match though for Monaco, as they couldn't seem to find any break through, until James Rodriguez puts them in front just before that half time whistle was blown.
The visitor kept on pushing forward as they were eager to confirm their victory in that weekend tie and their ambition didn't go fruitless as Monaco did managed to double their advantage with another goal from Rodriguez, who completed his brace on 77 minutes. There were no more goals scored by either sides afterwards as the visitor continue their chase on Paris Saint-Germain at the top of Ligue 1 standings.
