Having just won the Bundesliga title, Bayern Munich looked to suffered a dip of form as they once again failed to grab maximum points after being beaten by Augsburg.
Playing with most of their second string players, Bayern remain keen on grabbing all three points from that tie as they put on their attacking shape since kick off.
The home side were also eager to grab all three points though as it could be the best moment in defeating the champion.
Augsburg eventually got things going as they got themselves in front through Sascha Molders' effort on 31 minutes.
Bayern tried hard to get back into that tie, but none of their efforts were successful as Augsburg managed to hold their slender lead until the final whistle was blown.
