Athletic Bilbao are inching closer to seal their fourth place spot in La Liga this season as they bagged an important home victory over Sevilla on Sunday.
Playing against one of their direct rivals for that fourth place set, Bilbao putting on an aggressive display since kick off.
The home team's positive approach was rewarded early in the game as Susaeta puts them in front after only five minutes of play.
That early goal gave much beliefs for Bilbao players as they kept on pushing forward in search for more goals, which they did earn on 53 minutes through Iker Muniain.
Sevilla were not keen on giving things up easily, but things got harder for the visitor when they were forced to play with only 10 men after Diogo Figueiras received his second yellow card.
The home team took control of that situation as they added a third goal, this time from Ander Herrera on 73 minutes.
Sevilla themselves only managed to pull one goal back through Kevin Gameiro on 79 minutes, but it was just too hard to stop Bilbao from securing all three points in that game.
