Atalanta BC 2-3 AS Roma highlights: AS Roma continue their positive period this weekend as they picked up another league victory, this time they defeated Atalanta despite playing without their talisman, Francesco Totti.
In a snowy condition, the home side took full advantage of a defensive mistake from Roma and opened scoring through Marko Livaja after just eight minutes of play. However, Roma didn't took that much long to grab their equalizer as a wonderful solo effort from Marquinho nestled into the back of their opponent's net on 12 minutes.
In the 34th minute, it was Roma's turn to take the lead as Miralem Pjanic's excellent free kick found its way into Atalanta's net, without much problem. However, just before the half time break Livaja struck again with his second goal which leveled the score until half time break.
In the second half, both sides continue to play their attacking approach, but it was Roma that got the edge as Vassilas Torosidis headed home from inside the area with 15 minutes left in the game. Despite Atalanta's strong effort in search for the equalizer, Giallorossi hold on for an important result.
