The home side looking really determined in giving a special parting gift for their loyal fans as they put on an attacking display straight from kick off and it took them only eight minutes to go ahead through Guglielmo Stendardo's effort. Chievo were not keen on giving up though as they fought back to level things up and got their reward on 76 minutes from Cyril Thereau's goal.
Atalanta put themselves ahead again though with five minutes left in the clock through Luigi Giorgi, but just before the final whistle was blown, the visitor managed to equalize again with another effort from Thereau.
