AS Roma starting to stutter on their chase for Scudetto title as they failed to pick up maximum result again this weekend after being held by Atalanta. Playing away from home didn't stop Roma from taking an attacking initiative as they are keen on ending recent winless streak, which saw their table topping position being overthrown by defending champions, Juventus.
It was another difficult tie though for Roma as they couldn't find a way to break down their opponent during the first 45 minutes, triggering a goalless first half. In the second half, it was Atalanta that got things going as they went one goal up through Davide Brivio's effort on 51 minutes. The visitor did spare themselves from a potential defeat though as they grabbed a late equalizer from their summer signing, Kevin Strootman just before the final whistle was blown.
