Aston Villa Vs QPR Highlights: QPR just cannot find their way out of the last spots in the Premier League with yet another defeat which seems them remaining in the very last position of the English competition.
The travelled to the Villa Park with hopes of finding a victory that would get them out of the relegation spot but unfortunately for them they lost 3-2.
The defender of Aston Villa Nathan Baker had to be replaced after 20 minutes following an aerial challenge which left him injured and Joseph Bennett was brought in. His introduction allowed QPR to break the deadlock.
The left back Bennett slipped a pass in his own half but it was intercepted by Jenas who picked out Zamora and the 32 years old forward fired a shot which Guzan blocked but also gave away a loose ball which was capitalized by Jenas making no mistake in scoring from close range.
When injury time was added on the final few minutes of the 1rst half Gabriel Agbonlahor scored the equalizer as he managed to head the ball into the back of the net after connecting with a cross of Matt Lowton scoring just before the break.
Andreas Weimann scored the 3rd goal of the encounter when he fired a left-footed strike which got past Julio Cesar and turned the score 2-1 at the 59th minute.
QPR responded 17 minutes later with Townsend launching a shot that took a minor deflection from a player before finding its way past the likes of Guzan. At this point QPR was going to settle with 1 point out of this match but Aston Villa had another thing in mind as they edged their way into victory with Benteke scoring the winner.
