Arsenal regained their lead at the top of English Premier League table as they grabbed an important away victory over Aston Villa this past Monday. Eager to over throne Manchester City from current league table, Gunners immediately set themselves off into an attacking mode and that effort was rewarded when Jack Wilsher puts them in front on 34 minutes.
Within just a minute later, things looking really bright indeed for Arsene Wenger's men as they double their lead with an effort from Olivier Giroud. The home side tried to get back into level terms and they put on a much better display in the second half, giving more problems for Arsenal's defense. Villa's persistence did pay off as midway into that second period, they finally managed to pull one goal back through an effort from Christian Benteke on 76 minutes. Unfortunately, that effort was not enough to stop Gunners from walking away with maximum points from that game.
