Aston Villa failed to pick up all three points from their latest English Premier League fixture as this weekend they were held into a draw by fellow mid-table dweller, Swansea City at Villa Park. Playing in front of their home crowd, Villa made a bright start on that weekend encounter as they went one goal up after only seven minutes of play through Gabriel Agbonlahor's neat finish from inside the penalty area.
That early strike didn't stop Swansea from playing their attacking football as they dominate proceedings, creating chances before eventually getting back on level terms with a close range header from Roland Lamah. Both teams, especially the away side continue to push forward after the break, searching for that important winning strike, but unfortunately up till the final whistle was blown neither of that two teams were able to convert their chances into goals as the match ended in a 1-1 draw.
