AS Roma continue to prove that they are still strong contender to challenge Juventus' for this season Serie A title as they grabbed a convincing home victory over Genoa this Sunday. Eager to recover from their heavy big match defeat over their title rival last weekend, Roma immediately set off into an attacking mode and they got in front after 25 minutes through an acrobatic effort from Alessandro Florenzi.
The Giallorossi continue to dominate proceeding as they were able to double their lead through their talismanic skipper, Francesco Totti, who scored on the half hour mark. Roma sealed their first 45 minutes in a commanding fashion after grabbing the third goal from Maicon's effort two minutes before half time break. That comfortable three goals lead didn't stop Rudi Garcia's men from pushing forward as they added a fourth goal on 52 minutes from Mehdi Benatia.
