AS Roma keeping their slight hope for Scudetto challenge in Italian Serie A as they grabbed a convincing home win over Sampdoria this past weekend. Losing out heavily on their Coppa Italia tie against Napoli in previous midweek, Giallorossi immediately keen on looking for redemption as they took charge of that tie since kick off. After missing several goal scoring chances, Roma finally got themselves in front with only one minute before half time break through Mattia Destro.
The host kept on playing their attacking display as double their lead on 54 minutes with a lovely free kick from Miralem Pjanic, who once again showcasing his skills. Rudi Garcia's side sealed all three points from that match three minutes later when Destro completed his brace with another nice from inside the penalty area. Sampdoria can't really do much in that match and things didn't get any better when 10 minutes before time they were forced to play with only 10 minutes when Daniel Gastadello received a sending off.
