AS Roma continue their chase for top spot in Italian Serie A standings as they successfully defeated lowly Livorno at Olimpico stadium this past weekend. The home side looked really determined in grabbing maximum points in front of their home fans and it only took Rudi Garcia's men six minutes to get themselves in front with an effort from Mattia Destro. Giallorossi kept on pushing hard in that first 45 minutes and eventually able to double their lead thanks to a goal from Kevin Strootman on 36 minutes.
Looking comfortable with that two goals advantage, Giallorossi didn't stop their attacking approach as they managed to net a third goal, from a fine effort by Adam Llajic on 79 minutes. No more goals were scored in that game as that three goals lead were more then enough for Roma to keep their tails behind current leader, Juventus.
