Arsenal Vs Norwich Highlights: Arsenal was presented with a game that in the beginning seemed to be rather simple as they hosted Norwich City in their home stadium, the Emirates. Having 4 consecutive victories under their belt they wanted another one which would get them closer in a Champions League position.
The locals clearly dominated the opening sequences of the 1rst half; this was evidenced by the fact that Arsenal’s goalkeeper Fabianski barely had anything to do in this part of the encounter.
Gervinho and Giroud created some of the most cut clear chances that Arsenal had on scoring but despite the superiority of Wenger’s team they failed on scoring at this point.
In the 2nd half Arsenal continued being in search of the opening goal and just when it looked as if they were going to score it was Norwich who sneaked ahead.
Snodgrass delivered a pass over to Michael Turner who was picked out inside the penalty box of Arsenal and made no mistake in putting Norwich ahead with a bullet header.
Arsene Wenger moments later introduced Podolski, Walcott and Oxlade-Chamberlain into the pitch. The substitutions later paid off for the home team as Podolski scored the 2nd goal and Chamberlain provided the assist for him.
Arsenal found the equalizer in the 83rd minute through a penalty strike by Arteta. 5 minutes later and Giroud took the lead after receiving a sensational pass from Chamberlain which ended off with the substitute player giving Arsenal the lead.
Podolski wrapped it all off by scoring in injury time as they add 3 more points in their EPL title race.
