Arsenal keeping their FA Cup run going smoothly as they grab a ticket into the next round of that competition after defeating their fierce city rival, Tottenham Hotspur this past weekend. Both sides were having a positive run in recent matches, triggering such tight encounter since kick off as those two teams were pushing for nothing but a victory. However, it was Gunners that managed to get things going as they went one goal up on 31 minutes through Santi Cazorla's fine finish.
Spurs pushing hard in search for an equalizing goal after the break, but their effort was not enough and instead of scoring, they found themselves getting into further trouble as a defensive effort allowed Thomas Rosicky all the space in the world to double Arsenal's lead on 62 minutes. The away side never had any chance after that second goal as they looked rather dejected after trailing 2-0, giving Gunners a rather easy last few minutes of the match which ended with Arsene Wenger's men holding to their two goals advantage.
