Arsenal Vs Stoke City Highlights:Arsenal settles their 6th place spot in the Premier League with a total of 38 points after beating Stoke City with a narrow 1-0 scoreboard.
The only goal being scored by Podolski through a free-kick that squeezed its way into the defensive wall that was implanted and finding the back of the net.
Walcott and Sagna linked up well in the opening minutes of the game as it started off with a spark of life and excitement although however the rhythm and tempo of the encounter was slowly drowning off.
Wenger’s team was controlling the game but Stoke City was doing a superb job in not allowing them to create any real goal-scoring chances. The only real clear chance that arrived for Arsenal was at the 32nd minute when Oxlade-Chamberlain tried his luck with an effort that was denied by Begovic.
It remained the same throughout the remainder of the 1rst half and even in the restart of the game it was Arsenal who looked closer on scoring until they finally broke the deadlock at the 78th minute with Podolski taking a free-kick that was deflected off of Geoff Cameron and going into his own net.
