One of the favorites for World Cup 2014, Argentina started their campaign in a winning way after defeating Bosnia at Maracana stadium.
The South American giant immediately put a strong pressure on their opponent and within just three minutes of play they got in front, thanks to an own goal from Sead Kolasinac.
Bosnia tried to get back into that tie, but their poor passing in the final third made it tough for them as they couldn't score any equalizer during that first 45 minutes.
Both teams tried to improve their game in the second period, but it was Argentina that successfully grabbed the second goal through their star man, Lionel Messi on 65 minutes.
Bosnia themselves did manage to pull one goal back six minutes from time through vedad Ibisevic, who created a tense last few minutes for Argentina.
