PSV Eindhoven maintaining their dominance at the top of Dutch Eredivisie standings after grabbing an important away win over AZ Alkmaar.
Playing away from home didn't stop PSV from taking the attacking initiative as they found themselves one goal up after just three minutes through Luuk de Jong's effort.
Soon afterwards, the league leader doubling their advantage, once again from de Jong's goal.
Alkmaar reacted positively though after going two goals down as they were able to pull one back before half time break through Markus Henriksen on 40 minutes.
Not long after the restart, Alkmaar managed to draw level with an effort from Robert Muhren.
However, Eindhoven regained their control over that tie and eventually got back on the lead through Giorgino Wijnaldum's strike on 58 minutes.
Two minutes later, the visitor secured all three points with de Jong completing his hat-trick to give his side a 4-2 away victory.
