Algeria made their way into the knock out stages of World Cup 2014 for the first time in their history despite only grabbing a point from their final group match against Russia.
Both teams are chasing for a win on that last Group H tie and it was actually Russia that had a brighter start as they got themselves in front after Aleksandr Kokorin scored on six minutes.
That lead lasted until half time break as Algeria failed to get back on level terms during that first 45 minutes battle.
In the second half, things still looking tight as both teams have their chances in scoring goals, but Algeria manage to snatch that equalizing goal from Islam Slimani's effort on 60 minutes.
No more goals were scored in the remaining minutes as Algeria secured their ticket into the knock out stages.
