Ac.Milan Vs Catania Highlights:2 goals from Giampaolo Pazzini helped Ac.Milan secure a crucial victory in their journey of obtaining a Champions League position.
Catania came ahead with a goal from Legrottaglie but they just could not handle the fast pace attacking line from Ac.Milan as they found a way to score 4 goals past Catania’s goalkeeper Alberto Frison with the scoreboard displaying 4-2 at the end of it all.
Ac.Milan had absolute total control of the match with endless amount of attempts arriving from Balotelli and company trying to break the defence of their opponents but an inspired Frison maintained his team without conceding any goals at this point.
The visiting team however only had a few chances on actually scoring but in one of those instances they managed to score. After 30 minutes the opening goal was found through Legrottaglie as he connected with a cross from Lodi and headed the ball into the net of Marco Amelia.
It was nothing short of miraculous as it was the only real chance that Catania had to score and they did just that, they scored.
With the 1rst half just about to score Mathieu Flamini leveled the playing fields 1-1.
Bergessio placed his team ahead as he scored the 2nd for Catania but unfortunately for them the lead did not last long as Ac.Milan kept on pushing forward trying their luck at goal.
Allegri later decided to replace Nocerino with Pazzini who made an instant impact by scoring 2 back-to-back goals and now Ac.Milan was ahead in the scoreboard for the 1rst time in the game.
Balotelli sealed it off with a penalty in injury time which helped secure the home team’s Champions League spot.
