AC Milan picked up their first win in the new Serie A season as they defeated Empoli in a hard fought battle at San Siro.
Losing their opening fixture to Fiorentina, Rossoneri were determined to redeem that disappointing result by defeating Empoli.
It was not an easy task though, knowing that the away side have been proven as a solid side.
Milan were able to break the dead lock though on 16 minutes with a fine work from their summer signing, Carlos Bacca.
However, the away team were able to draw level after Riccardo Saponaro broke through Rossoneri's clumsy defending and scored against his former club on 20 minutes.
Things got rather difficult for the home side as they can't seem to get out from their mental issues, but on 69 minutes, Sinisa Mihajlovic's men got another break through.
This time it was their new Brazil striker, Luiz Adriano that earned them the important second goal as he headed in Giacomo Bonaventura's corner to give all three points for Milan.
