Arsenal midfielder Emmanuel Frimpong has admitted that he would relish the chance to move on loan this season.

The 19-year-old enjoyed a run in the team at the beginning of the season but with the likes of Aaron Ramsey, Mikel Arteta and Alex Song back from injury, he has found himself consigned to a place on the bench. He said: “Obviously I had a decent start to the season but when players like Alex Song are back, along with Mikel Arteta and Aaron Ramsey, it’s normal that they’ll play because they’re more senior than I am.”

“When January comes we’ll see, you never now how things will go, so we’ll look at it then.”
