Brendan Rodgers’ men will look to give their fans something to cheer for before the campaign ends, which would be another scalp to add to those of Arsenal and Manchester City. It may well be Gylfi Sigurdsson’s last game for the club as his loan spell is ending, but the Welsh side are sure to try and make the Iceland international a permanent member of their squad. Liverpool may well have won the Carling Cup but inconsistent league form means it has been a disappointing season for the Reds. The Merseysiders were beaten in the FA Cup final by Chelsea, but did get their revenge by beating the same opponents 4-1 in their last game out on Tuesday. There may be big changes at Anfield this summer, with Kenny Dalglish’s job in no way safe after a mediocre season, and a number of players expected to be signed. Andy Carroll has rediscovered some form and will look to end the season well to force his way into England’s Euro 2012 squad. Liverpool are 11/10 shots to win with Betfred.
