Inter and Roma meet again in the second leg of the Coppa Italia semi finals, with the winner set to take on either Palermo or newly crowned Scudetto champions Milan in the final.

Inter coach Leonardo will hope for cup success as the Brazilian is under mounting pressure due to the side’s capitualtion in Europe and handing the Italian league title to rivals Milan. The Nerazzurri will take a 1-0 lead into the second leg, as a Dejan Stankovic strike gave them the win at the Stadio Olimpico two weeks ago. The Milanese club sit in second place in Serie A with two games remaining, and have a crunch tie against third placed Napoli this weekend.

Roma will be putting more emphasis on the league, as they are fifth in the Serie A standings, and with two games remaining are equal on 60 points with Roman nemesis’ Lazio. The first leg tie was disappointing for Vincenzo Montella’s men, as they struggled to create chances, and any that were forged were ineptely wasted by Mirko Vucinic, who is short of confidence at the moment. I Giallorossi drew 0-0 with Milan in their last league fixture, and have this week confirmed that they will lose star defender Phillippe Mexes to the same side for next season.

Inter will want to progress more than Roma, who will be concentrating on making the top four in the league and confirming Champions League participation for next season; my Coppa Italia football betting tip is a 2-1 win for Inter.
