The top two sides in Group D of the Euro 2012 qualifiers meet on Friday, as France travel to take on Belarus at the Dinamo Stadium in Minsk.
Belarus are having a good qualifying campaign, and are sitting in second place in Group D with eight points from five games. Bernd Strange’s side have won two, drawn two and lost one so far, bu suffered a setback in their last match as they lost 1-0 to Albania. The eastern European side recorded a momentus 1-0 victory against the French in Paris earlier in the campaign, with Sergei Vislyak scoring a late winner; the odds will be against them completing the double come Friday.

France top the group with 12 points from five games; their record so far is four wins and one defeat. Laurent Blanc has tried to blood new talent into the national side, who beat Luxembourg 2-0 in their last game. Phillippe Mexes and Yoann Gourcuff scored the goals in that game, and Les Bleus have a good mix of expereinced players and talented youngsters. The French fans will look for revenge on the Belarussians after defeat the last time the sides met, and a win would all but send them to the finals.
France are starting to play good football and should be too strog for Belarus; my Euro 2012 qualifiers football betting tip is a 3-1 win to France.
