AC Milan suffered their fifth league defeat this season after getting beaten 3-2 against Lazio on Saturday, but Rossoneri head coach Massimiliano Allegri still calls for calmness despite the difficult situation his side are facing.

A top of the table clash happened in Italian Serie A this week when defending champions Juventus host Napoli in Turin. Both teams have 19 points with six victories and one draw ahead of the Saturday clash, meaning that whoever win's the match will create a three points gap at the top.

Inter Milan coach Andrea Stramaccioni was more than satisfied with his team's victory in the Milan derby, but the young tactician acknowledged that his side still need some improvements.

2 goals from Klose and 1 from Hernanes was more than enough for Lazio to maintain their positive start of the league as they just 4 points behind the 1rst spot club Juventus. The Brazilian Hernanes stunned Pescara early into the game with a sublime free-kick that the goalkeeper Mattia Perin could do nothing in his power in order to deny the ball from entering his net.

Lazio picked up an important 1-0 victory against NK Maribor on Thursday, the result pleased Biancocelesti's head coach, Vladimir Petkovic, who considered the match as a tough one. Petkovic stated that Maribor were a quality side and that's why Lazio didn't managed to dominate things as the Italian even made several defensive errors which fortunately didn't cost them the match.

Lazio are becoming true title contenders this season with a great start on their Serie A campaign. They are in 3rd place with 12 points only 4 points behind the leaders Juventus and Napoli.

Having yet to start any games in the Premier League, many believes that French international keeper, Hugo Lloris, is feeling rather frustrated at Tottenham Hotspur. However, this speculation was once again denied by Spurs' manager, Andre Villas-Boas, who said to the press that Lloris is not frustrated by being considered as second choice to Brad Friedel.

Napoli jumped to the top of the Serie A standings after overcoming a Lazio side 3-0 with their ace striker Edinson Cavani scoring a hat trick. The Uruguayan striker netted the 1rst goal of the match at the 16th minute with a powerful low driven shot that went right past Lazio’s goalkeeper.

Serie A gets back in action this midweek and among several games, one that might caught many eyes would be Napoli's meeting with Lazio at San Paolo stadium. Both teams started their three games with straight victories but fell short on their fourth, with Napoli drawing against 10 men Catania, while Lazio slumped into a 1-0 defeat against Genoa in the weekend.

Tottenham Hotspurs' manager Andre Villas-Boas might be disappointed with the controversial refereeing  during his side's Europa League tie against Lazio on Thursday, but the Portuguese is not concern over a bigger issue that occurred on that game.
