Goals galore continue to arrive from the Scottish Premier League this past weekend, with some surprise results ahead of the 2013 year. Defending champion, Glasgow Celtic suffered a 1-0 defeat against Hibernian on Saturday, with the only goal in that game arriving after just nine minutes from Leigh Griffiths.

Hibernian FC 1-0 Glasgow Celtic highlights: Current Scottish Premier League leader, Glasgow Celtic failed to end their 2012 in a high note after suffering a defeat against Hibernian on the weekend.

Hibernian FC 0-1 Ross County FC highlights: Bottom side Ross County got themselves a positive result on their away fixture against Hibernian on Wednesday. Both sides hadn't had an impressive run recently and it was shown in the first period as none of them managed to grab any goals.

Kilmarnock FC 1-1 Hibernian FC highlights: Kilmarnock only managed to pick up a point from their weekend SPL match up against Hibernian at the Rugby Park. The host started the game brightly and were looking on course in grabbing all three points after taking the lead in the sixth minute through Paul Heffernan.

Hibernian FC 2-3 Motherwell FC highlights: Motherwell keeping their title bid in the Scottish Premier League alive after grabbing a hard fought victory over their opponent, Hibernian on Saturday.

Another round of Scottish Premier League ended last weekend and some important results along with quality goals occurred for football enthusiast especially those who followed the league with a passion.

Dundee United suffered a disappointing 2-1 defeat against Hibernian on Sunday and United manager Peter Houston felt that his team should take a valuable lesson from that defeat. Speaking to the media after the match, Houston said that his players should already start playing well from the first half, instead of only doing good after the break.

Another interesting week of the Scottish Premier League have passed by, there's several interesting matches in store and of course tons of exciting goals that gave lots of joy for the SPL fans.
