Euro 2012 is all well and good, but let’s not forget the samba skills of Brazil, destination of the World Cup in LESS THAN two years of course. Five quality finishes from the weekend – nothing wrong with this little lot, we’re sure you’ll concur…

At 5 – Chile international Jorge Valdivia on his comeback following a horrific abduction at gunpoint for Palmeiras against Gremio. Numer four: Walter Montillo for Cruzeiro against Vasco da Gama, a sublime left-footed piledriver.

At three, debutant Romarinho features with his strike for Corinthians against Palmeiras, a lovely backheel after some excellent build-up play. And the runner-up? Romarinho again, same match, dummies past a couple of defender and slams a goal from just inside the area.

Best of all? The wonderfully-named Wellington Paulista for Cruzeiro against Vasco da Gama – just watch… and enjoy.
