The Oranje will take to the field without several key players this week as coach Bert van Marwijk will be resting CL finalists.
The Dutch line up on Wednesday night against Mexico for their first warm-up game in Freiberg, Germany, but will not be joined by three of their most experienced men.
Bayern Munich’s Mark Van Bommel, Arjen Robben and Inter Milan’s Wesley Sneijder were all in action for last weekend’s UEFA Champions League final and will be rested for the encounter with Javier Aguirre’s men.
Mexico will be hoping to improve on their last display, against Fabio Capello’s England, which saw the Central Americans dominate possession but fail to come away with a victory.
Dutch coach, van Marwijk, will also be denied the services of defender Ron Vlaar after the Feyenoord youngster pulled up in training with a suspected hamstring injury in his left thigh.
The Dutch are currently based in Austria and have scheduled two further warm-up games against Ghana (June 1) and Hungary (June 5) before jetting off to South Africa. They will then be pitted against Denmark, Japan and Cameroon in Group E.
