Arsene Wenger says negotiations for Andrei Arshavin are ongoing and he’s hopeful of completing the deal in the next few days.
Zenit have said they are willing to sell the Russia playmaker but have been accused by Arshavin’s agent of trying to inflate the transfer fee. Arsenal have had a bid, believed to be around £10m, rejected, but Wenger is hopeful the clubs can reach an agreement before the transfer window closes on February 2.
