Arsenal midfielder Abou Diaby returns to the squad for the Gunners’ Champions League clash with Borussia Dortmund on Wednesday evening.
The French midfielder returns after ankle surgery but Carl Jenkinson, Bacary Sagna, Tomas Rosicky, Jack Wilshere and Kieran Gibbs remain on the sidelines. Dortmund meanwhile won 1-0 at Bayern Munich on Saturday and look set to welcome back defensive duo Patrick Owomoyela and Marcel Schmelzer.
Teenage star Mario Gotze, a reported transfer target of Arsenal, will lead the attack for the Germans. Arsenal will qualify if they beat Dortmund, who are four points behind them in third place.
