Arsene Wenger will he hoping for home comforts this weekend after a horrendous start to the season. They have already conceded 16 goals this season and lost to Tottenham 2-1 last time out. Their home record offers some hope however, having won their last four in all competitions at the Emirates.

Thomas Vermaelen, Bacary Sagna, Jack Wilshere and Abou Diaby are all unavailable but Laurent Koscielny and Johan Djourou could return.

Sunderland Pre-Match Report

Sunderland boss Steve Bruce is also under an increasing amount of pressure with a run of just one win in eight games this season leaving the Stadium of Light faithful with that sinking feeling.
