Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is keen on Marseille winger Andre Ayew and is reportedly considering a January move.

Wenger is a known admirer of the 21-year-old, who was in action when the two sides met in the Champions League last week, and may see the attacker as the ideal competition for Theo Walcott and Gervinho with Andrey Arshavin continuing to suffer a lack of form.

Ayew himself is also keen on the move and stated, ‘I’m in Marseille, it is already big for me. But there is everything at Arsenal. The stadium, the players, the training ground, the budget and the image of the club that makes a lot of players dream’.
