Arsenal could move for Salomon Kalou

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger could make a move to sign Chelsea striker Salomon Kalou in the January transfer window.

The former Feyenoord man, who scored in Saturday’s 3-0 win over Newcastle, has made just seven appearances so far this season and is currently behind the likes of Juan Mata and Daniel Sturridge in the pecking order at the club.

The Gunners have been heavily reliant on Robin Van Persie’s goals this season and Wenger is said to be keen to secure a player who can play at the heart of his strike force.
