As January transfer window is officially finished, we announce that Newcastle striker Andy Carroll has signed a late deal with Liverpool FC.
England international striker signed a five-and-a-half-year-deal. He joined the Reds for an undisclosed fee after he successfully passed his medical.
The club have agreed a record transfer fee with Newcastle, though, as we have already said, undisclosed, believed to be £35 mil.
This is more or less a shock to everyone, since Alan Pardew insisted he was not letting him go, not a chance, he rendered. Who wouldn’t seeing £35 mil.
Even though it is still not official, Liverpool reached for this late decision due to Torres’ departure. We understand the Torres deal with Chelsea is practically sealed, as they are still working on details. Don’t worry we’ll keep you posted, so stay tuned on latest breaking transfer news.
One more addition is that Andy Carroll will wear the number 9 shirt at Liverpool.
