Monaco v Tours
As the French Ligue 2 has returned to our screens I preview their opening league fixture.
The club have only met three times before in their history and amazingly all three fixtures have been goalless draws!
I feel this game may give us one goal but no more, as statistics show there will not be many goals shared.
Monaco’s last three matches have included just a single goal per game, already giving us an insight that their matches don’t turn into goal fests.
3 of Tour’s last 4 matches have ended in 1-1 draws, also indicating they don’t give too much room for goals to be scored.
My prediction for this league opener is that no more than two goals shall be scored.
PREDICTION: Under 2.5 Goals @ 4/7
Brondby v Silkeborg
The Danish Premier League has just got up and running as well in the last week as Brondby and Silkeborg prepare to do battle.
The last 10 of 12 matches have been Over 2.5 Goals which would incline this game will give us goals, and plenty of them.
Silkeborg have already scored 3 goals in their first two games and have conceded four, as Brondby lie bottom of the table, after two defeats, conceding three goals and scoring just the one.
It is very hard to do research on games so early on into the season but I feel both the games I have covered have given me a view into two winning bets.
PREDICTION: Over 2.5 Goals @ 8/11
A double comes together @ 1.71/1
