Terry thanks Chelsea fans for support

Under-fire Chelsea captain John Terry has thanked the club’s fans for their support in the wake of allegations about his private life. The 29-year-old has refused to comment on the allegations over his private life but broke his silence to speak to the club’s tv channel. Following the Blues 2-0 victory over Arsenal at Stamford Bridge, Terry said : ”On a personal note I would like to thank every single fan. It’s been an emotional day for myself and how the fans have been with me over the last two weeks has been quite incredible. I didn’t expect that today and I would like to thank every single individual fan for the way they treated me. It was a great performance and, I mean it from my heart, I would like to thank everyone.”
